In response to a formal request from the Ministry of Agriculture and recognizing the critical need for reliable distribution networks, APTC committed to establishing a comprehensive fertilizer and seed distribution system.
Addressing Market Challenges
Since 2016, this initiative has systematically addressed persistent challenges in Rwanda's agricultural input supply chain, including:
- Unreliable and untimely delivery of fertilizers and seeds to farmers
- Quality control issues affecting agricultural productivity
- Thousands of unresolved payment claims for undelivered or substandard products
- Distribution malpractices undermining farmer confidence
Distribution Network & Product Range
Through strategic partnerships with certified agro-dealers, APTC distributes a comprehensive range of fertilizers under the "Twigire Muhinzi" program, including:
Rwanda Fertilizer Company (RFC)
