ABOUT NYANZA MILK INDUSTRIES
Established in 1937, Nyanza Milk Industries is a proud subsidiary of Agro Processing Trust Corporation (APTC) and operates under the Ministry of Defence. Our mission is to enhance Rwanda's dairy industry through innovation and collaboration.
Our Business Lines:
- Dairy Farming at Songa Farm: We partner with local dairy farmers, providing technical expertise in animal health, breeding, feeding, vaccination, and treatment. By organizing milk collection centers (MCCs), we ensure a consistent supply of high-quality milk while improving farmers' livelihoods.
- Milk Processing at Nyanza: At our state-of-the-art dairy plant, we produce a variety of products, including fresh pasteurized milk (Inshyushyu), curd milk (Ikivuguto), yogurt in strawberry, vanilla, and mixed fruit flavors, as well as a range of cheeses in diverse flavors, types, and shapes.
